We stayed there for hours. We started with a cocktail outside, we ate sushi afterwards and we continued upstairs with drinks. Everything was great!

"Get the black cod - it melts in the mouth. The Bincho Double Black Sour is a lovely cocktail. Finish with the chocolate banana cake."

We Say

The Setting

Located in one of the tallest buildings of London and right in the heart of the City, Sushi Samba is one that reaches new heights (and highs)! Whether you are indoor or outdoor, you can book a table that is right on the edge (literally) of the city. Take the glass elevator up and enjoy your drinks from the roof terrace or awesome vibrant bar sky high in the clouds!

The Atmosphere

Sushi Samba is THE London culinary experience and it all starts right at the bottom. If you are scared of heights, this might not be ideal: one thing is sure, you will get an adrenaline kick from stepping into the glass elevator that takes you up to the 38th floor of the Heron Tower. The whole restaurant has a breath-taking view on the whole city thanks to its large windows. You first come in though the bar, then to this high ceiling huge room giving even more magnitude to this already impressive room. Finally there is the terrace; extremely busy in summer and very popular as it is the highest rooftop terrace in London, and even more than that, in Europe. Very cool right? A must-go if you need/ want to impress!

The Drinks

Sushi Samba has an extensive cocktail menu making it difficult to choose between. As always, we like asking the waiters for some advice. This time we were pointed towards the Nashi Martini, a light and fresh cocktail that seemed very suited to the time and place.

“SUSHI SAMBA IS A REAL EXPERIENCE. THE FACT THAT THEIR FOOD IS AMAZING AND COCKTAILS DELICIOUS IS A HUGE BONUS AND THAT IS WHAT MAKES THIS PLACE SO SPECIAL.”

Only at SUSHISAMBA will you find a unique blend of Japanese, Brazilian and Peruvian culture

“Located on the 38th and 39th floors at 110 Bishopsgate, SUSHISAMBA London features the highest outdoor dining terraces in Europe, offering unparalleled, 360 degree views of the City. Two panoramic glass elevators whisk patrons from the ground to the 39th floor, opening up London from inside-out as the lifts climb further and further upwards.”

I though it would be more trendy than great food, but I was mistaken, the food was fantastic.

Delicious Kaffirinha signature cocktail (Kaffir lime leaves infused in Velho Barreiro cachaça, churned with lime and sugar. Served short over crushed ice).
