Traditional pub, cozy interior and nice street for drinking on in the summer. Not much restaurant space but the food looked good.

We Say

The Setting

Seven Stars is tucked away on a quiet side road in Holborn. The building is one of the oldest in the area, and is surrounded by other beautiful architecture that adds to the pub’s character. In the summer months, this makes for a nice area to have a drink outside, which is sometimes necessary, as the interior is quite small and can often fill up! It’s close to Covent Garden, whilst managing to avoid the busy crowds, which makes it a great place to go if you want a quiet drink in the city.

The Atmosphere

The pub boasts a comfy, familiar atmosphere, and that’s exactly what you get! With a cosy interior, and all the locals and regulars, Seven Stars makes you feel at home as soon as you step through the door! The walls show off some photographs of their old cat Tom, who was quite the attraction back in the day, and still manages to bring new customers through the door! Its small size and old style make it a fun, quirky place to visit.

The Drinks

Like many pubs, their drinks range doesn’t get much more exciting than a good range of beers – they do have some great cask ales on offer though, which we thoroughly enjoyed at a reasonable price.

“SEVEN STARS’ COSY, TRADITIONAL ATMOSPHERE MAKES IT A GREAT PLACE TO ENJOY A QUIET BEER OR SOME PUB GRUB – AS LONG AS YOU DON’T MIND A TIGHT SQUEEZE FITTING EVERYBODY INSIDE!”

They Say

A very fine traditional pub, with some quirks, good food and drink – but best when visited outside peaks (especially in cold weather since space is limited). It’s open all over the weekend, which is unusual for City pubs.

Datato al 1602, questa "perla" è uno dei pub più antichi di Londra..Piccolo, frequentato dagli avvocati delle Royal Courts of Justice, serve birre tradizionali, spuntini ma anche piatti di pesce.

Food was ok-ish for pub's standards. Uncomfortable seats though.

Nice snug little pub tucked away from the main drag.
