We Say

The Setting

Easily accessible right next to Queensway underground station, Queens is made up of a funky, retro interior with old arcade games, a skating rink and bowling alleys. Queens is also home to West London’s only Meatliquor burger joint, giving another great reason to visit (their food is delicious!). The bar/restaurant itself includes bright diner style seating, with colourful artwork covering the walls. The art work adds so much colour and style to the interior – a really cool design!

The Atmosphere

Queens’ retro interior and old style arcade create an exciting retro vibe to this bar – there’s so many different activities and games to take part in that you’ll run out of money before you run out of things to do! We loved the activities in Queens, but unfortunately as you’re paying for each of them individually, the costs do add up. When we were there the bar was extremely busy, which did put a bit of a downer on our night, as service was quite slow and it was harder to get drinks. However, we still had a great night with a fun atmosphere, good games and delicious food and drink!

The Drinks

Queens’ Meatliquor offers a whole host of unique drinks: there was so much choice here it was hard to decide! The menu is made up primarily of a number of different (and yummy) cocktails, but also includes a few great beers, wines and spirits/liquors. If you’re looking to try something new, try one of their alcohol milkshakes or floats! We were really impressed with the variety and innovation in Queens’ drinks menu – everything tasted good too, which always helps! We also found the pricing very reasonable for the type of venue and location, which is always a plus for us!

They Say

The iconic ice rink & bowling alley with the only west London outpost of MEATliquor – the perfect hangout in the heart of swinging London. Plus the spiritual home of Ice Go Karting and the only on-ice edition of Slider’s Curling!
