Great food (guinea fowl and beef cheeks were delicious), and quirky decoration. This is a lovely pub

We Say

The Setting

Located in West London, Paradise is a little gem that is slightly out of the way but definitely worth a detour for some lunch, dinner, drinks or late nights!

The Atmosphere

Paradise is a gastro-pub located in a beautiful old victorian building that turns into a bar in the evening as well as a club in their upstairs room. The building itself is a very good representation of what you will find inside: bohemian vintage interior design with a great ambiance. We experienced the whole shebang: we enjoyed some lovely food in their dining room: dimmed lights, long wooden tables and big vintage  chairs making us feel like Kings and Queens in the 1800s! All the tables were filled with young people (25-35s), the pub in the front room was buzzing from 8pm onwards and the music was just loud enough in the dining area for us to have a chat without having to break our vocal cords. Brilliant atmosphere. Once dinner was over and around 11pm, the dining room changes quite drastically but with no visible changes. Everyhting happens very naturally: whilst sipping on wine, beers or cocktails with dinner, the sound gets progressively louder. By the time people are ordering desert, the whole room has liven up. By the time desert is over and before you even know it, the party has kicked off. The Negronis and gin and tonics are flowing and people are ready to party! The brave ones will get themselves to the club upstairs, the others will remain on the ground floor for some more casual and social drinks. Bonus? Their friendly staff!

The Drinks

Good wine to accompany the delicious food, good beers for an afternoon drink, nice cocktails.

“A LITTLE GEM IN RESIDENTIAL WEST LONDON. THE FOOD IS GREAT, THE AMBIANCE IS PERFECT, THE DRINKS ARE GOOD AND THE STAFF IS NICE! WHAT MORE CAN YOU ASK FOR?”

I came here with two friends on a really busy sunday without a reservation but they still made sure we got a table. Delicious roast, cool decor and some brillaint people watching to be had.

Busy but not too crowded, cool space, two floors, plenty separate areas, and a nice patio
